Step 45: Reduce Your Daily Calories By Skipping Lunch

In the previous Step we talked about skipping breakfast in order to reduce daily calorie intake. However, it doesn’t have to be breakfast that’s skipped. If you prefer, try skipping lunch. If your lunch usually consists of 500 calories per day and you skip lunch every day of the week, that’s a massive saving of 3500 calories per week, or 500 calories per day.

Even if you only skip lunch three times a week, that’s still a saving of 1500 calories per week, or around 215 calories per day. If you’re trying to cut your daily calorie intake due to your weight loss plateauing, skipping lunch can be a good way to achieve this.

I’d like you to consider trying this method over the next week or two. If lunch is your most important meal of the day, don’t worry. Try skipping breakfast or dinner instead.
