Step 16: Preparing Others Around You
As well as preparing yourself for losing weight, you’ll need to prepare those around you. For example, your significant other might cook you a big fried meal every Friday night. Yes it tastes good, but it’s probably pretty calorific. Consider asking this person to make the same meal using lower calorie ingredients.
You’ll also need to prepare yourself for those visits to see family members who just want you to eat and eat. How are you going to deal with this? What if you’re confronted by someone critical of your weight loss plan and doubtful of your chances of success? Use the attached PDF and write down how you’ll deal with some of these situations.
